Salt River Veterinary Specialists is a privately owned veterinary specialty referral hospital expanding to add multiple disciplines to its team and is seeking a board-certified oncologist, cardiologist, and a second internist to join its practice in Scottsdale, Arizona. Enhanced with the latest diagnostic testing, cutting edge treatments, and staff of highly trained and compassionate professionals, Salt River Veterinary Specialists is dedicated to implementing innovative technology and interventional procedures, including laser lithotripsy and tracheal, urinary, and biliary stenting.

Patient Care Coordinator (Reception)
Salt River Veterinary Specialists is a privately-owned specialty referral hospital that is committed to providing the highest quality care using the latest diagnostics and cutting-edge treatments. Our staff of highly trained and compassionate professionals have dedicated themselves to supporting both pet owners and their family veterinarian throughout the referral process and we are in search of an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join us in our Scottsdale practice Full Time.
Our singular goal is to provide unequaled patient care whether a pet is coming in for an exam or an advanced procedure. We believe wholeheartedly in the strength of the Human-Animal bond and strive to support the emotional needs of the pet owner as well as the specific medical need of their pet.
An ideal candidate must:

- Be knowledgeable
- Have interest in advanced medicine, technology, and procedures
Responsibilities:
- Develop strong bonds with referring veterinarians by providing exceptional customer service to doctors, staff, and their clients by telephone, e-mail, and in person
- Empathize and listen to the concerns of clients and address their pet’s health needs by telephone, e-mail, and in person
- Work cohesively with hospital doctors and staff by effectively communicating and providing assistance, ideas, and support
- Maintain medical and office equipment, cleanliness, and client files
This position is being considered for full time employment, with four 10 hour shifts. We are open 8am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. We are closed on the weekend. Previous veterinary reception experience is necessary.
