Cystoscopy

A cystoscopy is a minimally invasive examination of inside your pet’s urinary bladder, urethra and prostate. An extremely small, lighted instrument with a camera on the end called a cystoscope is helpful for diagnosing ectopic ureters, polyps, tumors, and stones anywhere in the urinary system. No external incisions are required. Anesthesia is necessary to perform this examination and is often very short.
