A rhinoscopy is a minimally invasive examination of your pet’s nose, sinuses and throat. An extremely small, lighted instrument with a camera on the end called a rhinoscope is helpful for diagnosing (and potentially treating) nasal foreign bodies, nasal tumors, fungal disease, and inflammation of the nasal passages. No external incisions are required. Anesthesia is necessary to perform this examination and is often very short.
