I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I enjoy time with my husband, our family, and our two dogs. We make it a hobby to get out and explore different and new culinary experiences.
I’ve enjoyed working in the veterinary field since 2007. The best part of being in veterinary medicine is all about making a difference. This is why I love working with Dr. Aguirre so much. He consistently combines his education and experience with an outstanding daily example of care and concern for each patient. It’s our priority to ensure sure that our patients receive the very best care we have to offer.
I moved to Arizona in 2017 to enjoy warmer weather. I was born and raised in Long Island, New York and now love desert living with the many hiking adventures around the valley. I have a cat and a beagle mix. My dog loves going hiking with me too! I also enjoy a healthy vegetarian lifestyle and appreciate all of the local organic produce and farmers markets.
After graduating from Suny Delhi’s Veterinary Technician Program in 2007, I worked in general practice, emergency and internal medicine. I love working with Dr. Aguirre because everything is approached with such heartfelt care and concern for the patients. He treats every animal like it’s his very own. Dr. Aguirre’s medicine is very progressive and he’s always willing to teach and inform his entire team.
I was born in Queens, New York and raised in Long Island. My father has a huge love of animals which he passed on to me. My passion for veterinary medicine grew from a love of all creatures at a very young age. I don’t remember a day of my life without an animal in it. We always had dogs, turtles, fish, birds, and the list goes on. Once I got older I learned how to use my love for animals to help care for them when they got sick. Now I’m lucky enough to be able to help them for a living. At home, my husband and I have a pit-bull terrier mix and she’s such a fun-loving little creature. She loves playing catch, snuggling, and watching movies with us. I also enjoy painting, photography, and volunteer shelter work.
At Salt River Veterinary Specialists I’m a Veterinary Technician, assisting with procedures, gathering patient histories from clients, and helping to provide the highest quality of care for our patients each day. I’ve been working in veterinary medicine since 2005 and excited to be working for Salt River Veterinary Specialists since most of my experience was in general medicine or at shelters. Working in the specialty field is rewarding and exciting because I get to witness Dr. Aguirre’s passion daily as he finds answers to difficult cases in the quickest and most affordable way possible to best care for our patients.
Patient Care Coordinator and Veterinary Assistant
I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and attended veterinary technician school in San Diego, California. I enjoy family time with my husband, our son and our three dogs. We love watching the Arizona sports teams. The occasional shopping day at Home Goods is always at the top of my list and I love sushi.
I’ve been working in Veterinary Medicine since 2013. I’m grateful to have experienced general practice, oncology, and internal medicine. Working for Dr. Aguirre has brought my education to the next level and I appreciate his kindness and experience on a daily basis. I grew up with a love of animals and feel fortunate to be making a living in this field. Especially as I’m able to teach our son how to love and care for our own pets. The field of veterinary medicine is advancing and growing, which is an exciting career to be a part of.
Patient Care Coordinator
Phoenix, Arizona has been the only place I’m happy to call home. I’m a huge Arizona Cardinals fan but still cheer on and support all AZ sports teams. I have a large family and place much importance on spending quality time with them and making time for friends also.
I’ve been in the veterinary field since 2010. I spent the first 4 years at a busy veterinary hospital and the following 5 years at a veterinary mortuary assisting pet owners through the grief of losing their beloved pets. At Salt River Veterinary Specialists, it’s my pleasure to assist our clients and their pets to feel comfortable while they are here and do everything possible to accurately and efficiently coordinate their care between our hospital and the referring veterinarians.
I’ve always had pets in my life and find the relationship so special and rewarding. Unfortunately, my dog passed away in 2016 and I have yet to add another canine to our family. However, I have rescued 4 cats that have helped fill our home with love and companionship. Having our furry companions has always been a necessity and I’m happy to work with a team and clients that feel the same way!
Originally from Illinois, I moved to Arizona in 1997. I love living in Arizona with my husband and our beagle. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle, fitness, hiking and exploring the off-roads of Arizona in my Jeep Wrangler.
I’ve always loved animals and wanted to do all that I possibly could to help them live happier longer lives. As a young girl living in Illinois, I often worried about the animals living in extreme temperatures. It became a regular conversation of reassurance and education from my parents about their survival skills, instincts, and nature. When I moved away and adopted my own pets I quickly learned all about the responsibility, loving bond, and journey through their senior years.
There’s no better way to continue my passion than working with such an outstanding and well-educated specialist as Dr. Aguirre. I’ve been a part of the healthcare industry since 2002, but veterinary services and marketing is the next level of love which I find very fulfilling. I’m consistently impressed with Dr. Aguirre’s talent and approach to medicine and concern for his patients. Clients wonder how we manage to work in this field with illness and facing the potential loss of beloved patients. I thank them for bringing their pet to Dr. Aguirre for treatment because there’s no other place I’d rather be meeting them. They want the best for their pets and we feel the same.
